Question 1: What kind of evidence would it take for you to believe in God? Not what would be a good start, but what evidence would actually convince you?
And when we say God we are talking about a mind which is all-loving, all-powerful, meaning He can do everything but the logically contradictory, all knowing, and eternal.
(I inserted a clip from AronRa’s channel) Does that answer your question? If a truly all-knowing, truly impressive god ever decided to write a book, for example, it would be so far beyond anything humans could create –no predecessors, no parallels, no errors and no interpretation or apologetics needed.
Question 2: Is there anything I can do that could possibly convince you that God exists?
Like would any argument we could make have the potential to persuade you?
It’s hard for me to believe this question is actually sincere. Is it “anything you could do” to convince me or “anything you could say?” For the first question, you could present me with what I just mentioned as the answer to question 1. But if I knew the argument that could persuade me, wouldn’t I have already made the argument and converted myself? I wouldn’t need to tell you, hear it parroted back to me, then be persuaded by it, would I?
Question 3: If you realized that an all-loving God existed, would you desire to have a relationship with Him?
What does that actually mean? In all the relationships I have with anyone, I’m able to interact with them in person and have flesh-and-blood conversations with them. Belief in the person is not required to see them either. If I could do that with a god, any god, sure—talk, have a beer, carry on a two-way conversation with a god? It would at least be worth experiencing.
If you said yes to that question, would you want to have a relationship with Him just to get to heaven or for some other reason?
Well if he were truly all-loving, I wouldn’t need to be his buddy to get into heaven. Next question.
Question 4: Have you ever met a Christian who lives their life in such a way that it is clear that they really believe in an all-loving God?
Meaning they lived a life which was impressively kind, loving, and selfless.
No. Have you? And even if I had, what would that matter?
Question 5: Has the presence or lack of those types of Christians had any impact on your atheism?
No. How nice you are has no impact on whether or not I believe your claims of the supernatural.
